Rent a Car in Dubai
If you want to rent a car in Dubai, there are couple of points to be considered:
- Most of the time you need an international driving license, but it is depend of your nationality, however it is better to apply for it before coming to Dubai
- Most of car rental agencies will take AED 1000 of deposit for Police fine and will release if 2 weeks to one month after returning the car. If you have credit card it will be blocked from your credit card
- Car rental daily charges is between AED 75 to AED 500 depend on model and type of car you want to rent
- There are couple of big car rental agencies in Dubai where are more expensive but provide you better services they have so many branches across the city
- there are so many small agencies which you can find the around Fish round about which gives you cheaper price but rely on them can be a risk. most of them hold your passport as guarantee
- if you take a car you will be having the opportunity of experiencing other cities of UAE like Fujerah and Al Ain
